reflecting light

i was just woundering if aluminum foil would be a decent reflecter for the plants, cause i heard that aluminum foil would put holes in the plants and eventually kill her

Alu foil doesn't reflect light evenly and can act as a magnifying glass, causing hotspots which can burn your plant; same applies to mirrors. Try mylar or if you're on a tight budget, flat white paint.

what about sign grade chrome vinyl? anyone have any experience using it?

I got a thing of Mylar, 4ft by 25ft and 2m thick for 18.95 bucks and 9.95 dollars shipping on ebay, it got here in 2 days.
