So I currently have a cxa rig that was built using zap straps and some aluminum strips DSC07478a.jpg ...

ill be getting an 1825 "light engine" and a 185-54 driver from cobkits.com..

rather than spend money on trying to build a new rig to hold all 3 cobs with the bright ass 1825 in the middle im going to go into my shop, grab some scrap plywood. destroy my current cob build. cut 3 holes bolt the cobs and heat sinks to the board. line up the drivers and bolt them to the board. and then mount a clip fan over them for cooling.. put eye hooks in each corner. and done.

pics will be once i build the thing

Just use a discarded street sign or some other chunk of metal. You don't need high efficient Al or Cu to manage heat, simple stainless or even rolled steel works just fine. We aren't overclocking chips :)

LOL! Don't steal a Stop sign. What about that stuff at Home Depot near the electrical department. It seems kind of heavy. Looks like the metal they have near the ceiling for running wires for a server room.
