Red Spidermites 2 weeks away from harvest... HELP PLEASE!!! : (

hey everyone ,

I have 3 plants about 2 weeks away from harvest right now in my closet. Ive had azamax throughout the whole grow but didnt use because i didnt think id be vulnerable to spider mites. When i was looking at my CRAZY trichs on one of my girls i saw a red spec. after examination i found out it was a red spider mite. does ANYONE have ANY idea how i can kep these things at bay for another few weeks? from what i saw they have just arrived and havent done any damage yet. please help me. I dont want to lose these girls. thank you.

I can give you a couple options, but there are many...

1- Best thing I've seen is getting a "NO PEST STRIP" and place it near the plants with the most problems. Leave it out only for 3 to 4 hours , then seal it up and put it away. Do this procedure again over a three day period. Stay away from the room and seal it up, with just a tad of off center air blowing somewhere inside. It's a very high probabilty that you will kill all the mites, but not any eggs laid. May have to do this over again in about a week if any eggs hatch.
2- Take a midsized spray bottle and add water, then add 3 to 4 small drops of dishsoap to it. "TURN OFF" all lighting (except to see with) then spray up and down, over and under, stalk and buds. Let dry for a couple hours and then return to lighting. This will kill about 85% to 90% of all the mites and slow down the rest. But rest assured they'll be back in about a week and a half, where you'll have do re-spray again.
NOTE!!- If you add more dishsoap, you'll kill a few more mites, but you'll dry out your buds and leaves. Turning your lights back on too soon can also cause the leaves to curl and dry out as well.

that close to finish might just want to hand rub its probaly gonna be your best bet. I have neurological nerve disorder and cant stop my body from shakeing all day long, im on all kinds of meadication because some bitch last year sold me avid in a vial didnt tell me what it was just that it would take em out for sure. He said not to worry about skin contact just wear a mask and that i could use it up to a week before harvest. luckily i didnt get to smoke the buds cause i was in the hospital 3 days after spraying i lost about 55 pounds and was sick for about 11 months. now i have to take all kinds of nerve meds all day fck chemicalls.
