Could anyone suggest a good, affordable setup for taking time lapse video/photography of growing plants? I was thinking of a decent quality webcam connected to a spare (external) hard drive on a computer, or something like that. Any specific suggestions though, especially whatever software would probably be needed to take the footage - hopefully plug and play or very little simple code writing, would be great.
I'm interested in filming both veg, and flower - and I'd ideally like to film a whole flower cycle, focusing on one branch/top.
