Reciculation DWC Build

Looking to build a recirculating DWC system but as ive never used a dwc or this system before im just got some minor questions.

RCDWC - When i fill my system, Do i need to fill all buckets and resovoir to the desired overflow level?

Its hard for me to explain what im asking sorry. Im basically wanting a DWC and a UCWS setup in one but Im getting confused on overflow and water lvl heights. Say i want my water lvl to be just under the netting pot and i want the drain off water to be at the bottom of the bucket and im guessing using this system drippers are what pumps water into these systems. Do i need to put a float valve at the level in the resovoir at the same lvl as it would be in the buckets?

Ok i think im understanding, I thinking i have a pump in the control bucket to pump water to all the buckets might add a dripper onto the lines for roots that cant touch waater?

Plus I dont understand PPM, no matter what i read how much i read i still dont understand using ppm. I understand it means Parts per million and u can use a EC to measure it or a PPM metre but when measuring ppm how does it work with PH like say my tank is 50 litres and the PH is at 5.8 How does ppm come into this or affect?
I am a hands on person not a person who can learn by watching videos or reading books I can get most of the ideas but I do best by DOING SO.

ppm is nutes. so you can measure tap water at a certain ppm depending on where you live. then how ever much nutes ou put in will raise it. i believe so anyways. idk about rwdwc sorry

ok if i jsut follow my CYCO grow chart for exampel it says: ML per litre

Products: Week1
Grow AnB 2ML
B1Boost 2ML
Uptake 1ML
ZYME 1ML
Silica 1-2ML

T.D.S (P.P.P) 1000
E.C 1.5
PH 6

Ok since thats the chart if i had 50 litre tub and i added all the corressponding ML of nuts and made sure the PH was at 6. Shouldn't the PPM be what it should be if i put in the right amout of nutes? And whats EC and how do u measure it?

Ok see if im getting a better understanding about PPM. its mainly for when ur water drops and u add more water then u test the ppm to see how much nutes needs to be added to keep it at same level as u started?

Smurf: I would like to suggest a couple of things:
#1. try a couple of DWC grows, maybe in five gallon buckets, before you get in over your head. Get three or five buckets going and then decide if you think it will be any easier when they're all connected. I think you might be in for a surprise.

3. Read: Ed Rosenthal’s, “MARIJUANA GROWER’S HANDBOOK,” with the same emphasis on hydroponics.
4. You’ll also want to subscribe to, “HIGH TIMES,” magazine. Each issue is chocked full of useful information. All these resources are very well written, well illustrated and packed with information that will answer your questions before you know to ask them. This will save you and your plants a lot of anxiety.
At the prices of seeds or clones now a days you don't want to go into this blind, I hope this helps. HSA
