Your to funny OD. I think autos will get better as time goes on . They'll never. Compare to photos but serve a purpose . Less nutes , less care for lazy people who dont want the hassle of the TLC photos need . Again I like both but you can't compare apples to oranges. Breeders wouldn't be breeding or creating it if their wasn't a market .
Check this out.from clones vegged one week the straight to flower these plants ar e 47 days old and will be harvested in 10 days grown with two 600's under 12/12 I will probably pull 3.5 lbs in the whooping total of 57 days using less electricity.... So give me one example how a auto could in any way possible better, please do....hehe , much love bro, oh I am super lazy too.. But autos simple can't do this... and its only 57 days start to finish...IMG_20150117_214228.jpg IMG_20150117_194103.jpg

You already know never to transplant an auto. Other basic tips... THOU SHALT NOT:
Over water.
Over feed. Don't even touch nutes until week 3 or 4
Top, crop, super crop or fim
Start in 'hot' soil
Change your lighting schedule

Basically, resist the urge to tinker too much, water when your soil is dry, not on a schedule (they will need water mire often as they get big and especially when they flower). Good luck in your future endeavors.
Ive already started my NL autos in ocean forest w/ perlite.. Shes only at 5 days but ive had other grows bigger at only 5 days. I know some people had success even with ocean forest, am i overreacting?

In auto's defense, plants from seed can't do that period, auto or not. More of a statement of the superiority of growing from clone as opposed to seed than it is of photos vs autos. Plus you gotta add in either the cost of clones or the time/care/electricity spent keeping the mother alive and taking/rooting said clones into the equation, since the clones didn't just appear out of thin air.

That being said... those plants are beautiful!

Totally agree but for a newb with no experience that wouldn't be possible. It's like a good starting out crop . Obviously do you think a newb with very little experience will be able to pull that off ? Hell no . So hence autos are good for lazy people with no experience and want their own . Obviously we know photos are king but to newb autos suit them best til they learn the ropes of growing training etc . That's in my opinion what their good for . Def do not compete with photos I agree !

FFOF tends to be a little hot for seedlings. Happy Frog is a better option for seedlings. That being said, you already started, all you can do is wait and see. Some strains are more robust and handle hot soil better. Also.. in your pic, I can't even really see the seedling because you focused on the soil instead of the plant. Another picture would help.

Yeah I saw that grow and that's what made me think there was something up with mine. Yours looks amazing I want your grow with the colour I got from mine.
That was my grow and with the second round I got the same color as yours and A LOT LESS KICK! The bigger DD had a way better high with a lot less color.

Your plants seem very small. Even my all purple DD harvest was over 20 grams I think, no more than an oz for sure. The biggest was around 3oz (started in early May 10 24/0 CFL supplement for night time hrs), if my CFL cab had not gone out I think 100 grams could have been reached. I harvested on July 20 (70 days from seed) 87 grams.

It does kind of look like you have some nutrient burn on the tip there. Not totally sure what I personally would do about that. Anyone else have suggestions?

The color is amazing, damn shame they didn't yield bigger, my condolences. But that color.... Also, I just gotta say, I was mildly distracted by the fact that you and I share a rare hand trait that I've never seen in anyone but myself, which is a Single Transverse Palmar Crease, AKA a Simian Line. So yeah. Sorry for the distraction, but.... High Five!

Well, if you believe in palmistry, or palm reading, it means that your heart line and your head line are converged, so where most people are divided between what their heart wants and what their head wants, people with conjoined heart and head lines means they have do division within them, so they pursue things with abnormal commitment, and thus their lives usually have high peaks and deep valleys because they fully invest themselves in everything they do with their entire being, so when things go wrong they go really wrong and when things go right they go really right. From Wikipedia (Detailed): "
  • A simian crease, or fusing of the heart and head lines, has special significance in that both emotional as well as reasoning nature have to be studied from this line alone. The peculiar line is thought to be a combination of the head and heart lines on such hands that are separately marked on the rest of the hands.
According to Cheiro[citation needed], this line is thought to endow a person with an intensity of purpose or single-mindedness, the nature of which is decided upon by exact position of this line on the hand and the direction of any branches shooting from it, which is normally the case. In hands where such a line exists without any branches as a singular mark, it indicates an extremely intense nature and special care is needed for such persons. The normal position for the line is starting below the index finger and ending where normally the heart line terminates at the edge of the hand below the little finger, indicating average interests for the person and the intense side of the nature is decided purely by the direction of any branches shooting from it.
The upper half of the palm lying immediately below the fingers is considered to represent the higher or intellectual nature and the lower half of the palm to represent the materialistic side of the nature. If one of these halves is larger than the other as decided by the central placement of the head line or in this case the single transverse palmar crease it shows greater development of that aspect of the nature. Based on this general principle, if this line is placed below its normal position it indicates an intensely intellectual nature; if it is placed above its normal position it indicates an intensely materialistic nature and interests.
The direction in which any branches may be found shooting from this line have a significant impact on the nature of this line resulting in suitable modifications from the above defined results depending on the nature of the mounts on the hand. For instance, if a branch from this line shoots to the mount of Moon lying on the lower edge of the hand exactly opposite the thumb, it indicates an intensely vacillating nature and emotional temperament."
and from a kinda ghetto website (Simplified):
"Palm readers and Hand Analysts have observed over the years some common traits in people with Simian Lines on one or both hands. [This pertains to those people who have no apparent medical problems.] People with Simian Lines generally live their life differently than most other people who do not have Simian Lines. Not necessarily living better nor worse. Just living more intensely with an undercurrent of uneasiness. It is interesting that a number of well-known people with a Simian Line have made a positive contribution to history. They include British Prime Minister Tony Blair (both hands), former Russian President Nikita Kruchev, writers John Steinbeck and Henry Miller, Tony Robbins, and Hillary Clinton."

I think I read on here about chlorophyll and zanophyll. Zanophyll being what's under the chlorophyll and causes the purpleing, it's not as efficient in photosynthesis.
