She continued to wilt. I finished the cut and removed it from the base root system. She's in a cup of water with some IBA and aloe.
Fingers crossed but I'm not hopeful. Too much time for an embolism, and I think that's what happened. It was about 30+ min before I realized what I did.

How do you separate the rhizomes? Do you break off the leafs from the main stem?
When you unpot it, sometimes leafs will break off or just easily fall off. If you have a leaf that is removed from the plant but without any rhizome or root to it then it has to be cut, air callus, and you can treat it like a cannabis cutting and stick the sealed cut end into soil for rooting.
But in an ideal situation you won't have any leafs that easily fall off. If they do, that means your watering methods aren't exactly to aloes preferance and it's water stressed.
The best case sineraro all leafs are solid and intact. Then you would unpot, remove all soil from the roots, and then determine where the "pups" are and either cut or snap the pups away with their respective rhizome.
You can wash off the roots too before you make any divisions, and before planting dust the roots with myco. This seems to really help.
Don't repot aloe if the soil it's in is still moist, it must be dry first, otherwise the aloe can get over watered and fail to take after divison.

She turned out nice eh
Not too bad. Something wasn't right this time tho with my soil. The others are doing perfect in it, but she didn't.

Started yellowing out early, and then I got signs if a K deficiency. I had to hit her with some kmag. She fixed herself, but the damage was already done by then.

The buds are rock hard tho and the smell is just like soured cherries. She didn't produce the resin like she has been known to in the past, but that may be because I had the light at a height for all the plants, instead of just focusing on her.
I haven't cut her down yet. She still has about 1 week left. When I scoped the trics 2 days ago, they're still mostly clear.
But with as little as I've had to actually do for her, I'm happy with it.
I have another 100 gallon batch cooking right now for her clones. This batch is the traditional ROLS mixture, but with a few extra goodies. Like enzyme powder, granulated humic/endo/ecto/trichoderma. Dried and powdered comfrey from my yard and oat/wild rice flour, and yucca.
I opted for a split mix of high brix basal and micronized azomite. I'm really excited to run this mix, but it's got another month to go. The enzyme powder should speed things up tho, well, that and all the lacto.

She was an absolute water hore! I'm talking over a gallon per day, and she went limp a couple times from being to dry. I'd like to also note that she probably would have done better if my watering practices were better. I still haven't gotten around to finishing the automated blumats, but I will now. I definitely lost harvest weight because of it, but for a kush, she did well.

Well she still looks the business anyway ;). Was she mainlined or did you top her out like that? Nice colas
Thanks man.
No I didn't mainline her at all. The killer gooberry is the only one ive mainlined so far and she is a fucking bush already!
With this plant all I did was LST in the early stages. Got her to even out the hormones and then started the FIM and topping. I had to do some additional LST once she got to the edges of the 20gal and then started to create knuckles for the weight support.
She took it all like a champ and nothing phased her. I'm really happy with the support and strength she has. Her branches are like wood and very difficult now to bend or move. I can shake her violently and nothing breaks.
I can't wait to unearth her rootball!

I'm gonna finish her with 50#s of ice. (Sorry little worms, winters comming.)
Normally she purples up real nice, but I kept the night temps around 70F this time as my white fire ape is a sat dom.
