  • Hey everyone!!! So my supersoil has been cooking for almost 9 weeks!!! My question is. should i throw it all back on the tarp and mix it up again before using? or can i take it straight out of the can im cooking it in?

seeds: Ace of spade (TGA). Strawberry cough (Attitude seeds) and they gave me two feminizedseeds a CH9? and then another on that says vintage 2006 jack. im going to pop them anyways of course lol. G13 x sour diesel. I am germinating these all at the same time then veg for 8 weeks under his 600wtt OR should i just stick with t5 48? After the veg i transplant them in 1/3 super soil topped with 3inches mixed base/super soil then top off the pot with base soil? CORRECT? just want to make sure i have the process down before i begin.

I have 2 fire headband and two mast kush that i have LST to the core lol they look SO cool straight up looks like a huge bonzai tree!!!! soooo many shoots! BUT these 4 are ready to transplant. i am going to transplant into 10 gallon smart pots. 1/3 of the pot will be pure supersoil.the next few inches will be a mix of supersoil and base soil and the rest will be pure base soil......Please advise and your input is much appreciated =) jah love

Sup, Sounds like your on the right track. I,d keep em under the most powerful light you got, from seed to flower. If you haven't mixed the SS since you made it mixing before using isn't a bad idea.(I would)... Peace

THanks a bunch man! im pretty nervous yet stoked at the same time in regards to using the supersoil2, i just transplanted them from 3 gallon pots to 15 gallon smart pots! So now ive got 2 fireheadband and 2 master kush . each in 15 gallon smart pot, 1/3 SS, topped with mixed SS and Roots organic 707 then finished off with regular roots organic 707. Ive been LST them since babies and i must say its INCREDIBLE how big they are! they all look like bonsai trees! seriously! i cant seem to get a good picture under the HPS but i will get one soon posted. theyve been in veg for 6 weeks and im going to let them veg for 12. (is this ok? they have a very big root system established, can i let them continue vegging in the SS? So yeah ive got 4 Big plants in a 7x7x7 under 2 6xxxl magnum 1000w hps..i cn control the wattage from 600 800 and 1000 should i blast both of them on 600? ive got only 1 Light on im afraid ill overkill.......

I usually veg in SS 12 gal for 30-40 days(usually by then they are so freakin huge)....If temps aren't too high 2 1000 watters for sure!...Those magnums using 1000w have 5 by 5 foot coverage. 2 should do a 5 by 10 area if u have that much space?

I dont like to mix my super soil and base mix I like to use 40% super soil at the bottom of the pot and then just use the base soil to fill up the rest of the pot. That way the plant and roots have time to get adjusted before hitting the super soil, last time I mixed my super soil and base soil up in the pot i got some nutrient burn. Subs super soil is really hot so thats why I do what I do. Use the two 1000W for sure.. More lumens! I also reccomend you read some of these threads and use a compost tea every other watering or so, you can use straight water with subs super soil but the tea's help a lot too. I also use raptor hoods which are the same size as the XXXL hoods and they do give you a 5' x 5' foot print of light.

awesome info guys thank you! @beaverhuntr , unfortunately i have already transplanted so i hope it goes well lol, one of the plants looks a little sad but no burn. probably just from the transplant im imagining. and the 4 plants are in a 7x7x7 grow tent plenty of room for the 4 and i will definitely blast the 2 1000 watters =)

also i will get on top of the teas! ive been meaning to get into learning hwo to use them. Everything i have done has always been in soil and Roots organic nutes with some other nutes. and then ive got a titan flow and grow and its pretty awesome. low maintenance just watching them grow grow grow!
