Ready For The Boom:)

Feeling pangs of ADD :wall:

I swear I see light at the end of the tunnel though. I'm fairly set in my mind how I want to approach using Advanced Sunshine #4 media, and using Advanced Nutrients. Conservative nutrient plan.

I'm up to about page 90 of GroErr...Grows Thread, which is awesome. It's a proven track record of success. He blends Promix HP with something called Triple Mix 50/50 which is something common in Canada. It's a blend of topsoil, peat, and manure. Not common in the states (at least the term triple mix), but he runs this blend without needing much for nutes, and fairly conservative in Bloom with beautiful results.

So I want to continue my plan, but start some trial runs of an adaptation of his mix. I'm going to mix my Sunshine with Fox Farm Ocean Forest 50/50 with a hydroton drainage layer. FFOF is found and used widely on this site, with a common complaint of it being a little hot, so this blend may work well. Sunshine has aggressive Perlite in it, and many who use straight FFOF blend in 30% or so. The mild nature of SA#4 should tone it down a bit. Then I can worry less about being perfect with synthetics, and running out of a micro or macro during water cycles. My only fear is that this could invite bugs. I do have the Neem Oil and Dawn ready though.

1+ for ffof. It is ph balanced but It does lack calcium and magnesium tho. I use that soil with perlite and add those other additives to the it. Been working good for me. Only need to water and add suppliment if you desire

Right, I've heard that, so I plan to add Azomite. It supplies calcium and magnesium, and other micros without impacting pH.

I need to do some electricity management now that the MH is buzzing again. I'm pretty sure I can turn Bloom down from 750 HPS + 204 LED to 600 HPS and 204 LED. Should still have capability of producing some serious dank/dense buds in that 3x5 space. CO2 will be next. I'm just gonna do a trashcan fermentation, GrowingforFun style.

What a night...

So like I said, I'm leaving for a few days, and tonight was the night to water the shit out of everything.

My woman's mother is staying at the house with the kids while we're gone

So I'm down feeding and watering in the Bloom Box while her mom and the family are upstairs and I'm like :shock: that smell! It's hard to describe. It hits the nose sweet and finishes in this funky sour smell that is intoxicating.

I'm unhappy I won't be there to dump the dehumidifier, but it'll be fine. I have a hands free plan. There's a hookup for a hose on the dehumidifier, and I have a sump in the room. I run my RO waste into, that I can run to, but my damn sump pump isn't working. I have to deal with that soon. I have a tiny submersible pump that doesn't have enough lift to get out of the bilcos. So you can imagine how filling 5 gallon pails with that to dump outside pleases me
:cuss:
Anyway, I gave the Donkey Dick SB straight water, and will be damn close to ready this week:bigjoint:

Gave the big daddys 600 ppm of:
RO Water (the following based on /gal)
6 ml Advanced Nutrients Micro
6 ml Advanced Nutrients Grow
6 ml Advanced Nutrients Bloom
3 ml Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
3 ml Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy

Watered Veg with RO water and 2 ml of Advanced Nutrients B-52 40 ppm

I did dial my HPS down to 600 from 750 like I said I wanted to today.

Got my new ballast today that Vivosun replaced for me

SkunkBerry1 is Day 68 of flower. Trichs are mostly cloudy, traces of Amber here and there, but I'm gonna let it go to the end of the week sometime for the chop.

Took NorthernSkunk3 and NorthernSkunk4 out of the cloner, transplanted into 1 gallons.

Transplanted NorthernSkunk2 clone from 16oz to 1 gal.

Transplanted 2 SB1 clones from 16 oz to 1 gal.

I used new soil mix with all of em.
