Your getting that maximum coverage huh? Love the mars lights on the side. Have you tried this before how well does it work?
I'm not sure if they are helping or not...lol. I figured a little hybrid of lighting might be cool. I'm about to test some cheap COBs for Veg. I'd like to add 200w of quality supplemental cob to 600w HPS. I think that would be killer. I've got the 26w of UV there, but I'd like to get some tube flouros for that for more even coverage.

Ok so the uvb on my light I'll be honest it did more harm then good to my plants I think.

I read studies that showed it works. It's gonna stress em, so you have to dose them properly and the downfall of your light was it was built in. You don't need it all the way through the light cycle. 12 hours in a cycle, run it from hour #4 - #8...simulating high noon/peak UV levels. I think you would want to be careful about intensity as well.

If I could start over I'd probably have gone with. Ceramic Metal Halide and got the UV benefits and faster finish that goes with it.

"UVB light also affects marijuana potency. The potency of high quality marijuana increases in direct ratio to the amount of UVB light it receives.". Ed Rosenthal - Marijuana Growers Handbook. This book has great info, worth checking out.

210 wall watts. 4x drivers u can also exchange cobs if needed or use any of the drivers to power other cobsView attachment 3964874
My lights didn't come with fans, but giant heatsinks. They are 107 watts at the wall each. I tested one in my 2'x2'4" cabinet. I have a lux meter which can be converted into lumens. I've found that 25,000 to 35,000 lux is decent in veg, can go up to 50,000 as they get older. Below are the tests:

12", Center

Roughly, 22,000 - 32,000 lux is 2,000 - 3,000 lumens. Fair levels for seedlings, early veg, and bottom growth of the plant as the plant grows into the 4,000-6,000 lumen range. 6" Away at center is 100,000 lumens which would bleach em.

This will work, I have good ventilation and circulation.

3 in a 2x4 would probably work real well.

The biggest thing is, there's no spectral analysis. The color temp is right, but I guess we'll find out eventually.

In case you notice some buds are off those chains, I cleaned up half with snapping stems and I'm leaving a some for 1 more day. Tossed the trimmed bud in a jar with some Boveda62. Took a sample :eyesmoke:, frosty, sweet, smooth excitable relaxing smoke.

No lie tho.. I'm very optimistic about that light. I believe it will work rather well. But who knows how long. does it get really hot? I think about that with mine honestly. They r still beasting tho!. I actually referred others to that kind of light but no one ever responded. Im glad you are trying those out! Thanks for going above and beyond with your analysis bro:clap:

It comes with an 18 month warranty, and you can buy a 4 year warranty for 8 bucks.

I use blizzard oscillating fans for high flow circulation. Then 6" high cfm, variable speed exhaust.

I keep my box open turn all the other fans (besides the lights fan) intake and exhaust off some times and run my tower oscillating fan. im not worried all about the smell. I live in a secluded area. Private property :) yeah i need to build something bigger than the 2x2 so i can have that fan in there and more plants

Awesome warranty. Well there ya go! Hopefully you can start a trend with that light cuz i swear i haven't came across anyone with one they have 10 and 20watt rgb ones where u can control the color from blue to deep red for flowering and even green if you need to sneak in the tent during lights out

82F 50%RH. That's with clip fan exhaust. I want to move it next to the tent, I have a 6" duct Wye to splice exhaust lines together, for a 6" High CFM fan.

Next I have to fuck with tieing my vent exhaust to the outside and setting up a temp/humidity controlled active intake fan for cool night grow room cooling. And fix the damn sump pump so I can plumb the exit line up to my dehumidifier to the sump hole, plumb up my utility sink, and build a vent duct for the dehumidifier. Haha...where's a crew when u need em?
