My setup is 2x (150w HPS). 3x (23w daylight CFL). First grow. Two female plants.

Here are my pictures. Scroll down for high res pics. Remember, I am colorblind with green/brown as well as yellow/light-green, etc. Are they ready? :D

not even close dude, you still have aways to go.
the buds will tighten up and swell up(yes even more)
when they are done, they wont look anything like what they do now.
good job.

They've been flowering for about two months. I'm concerned that some of the hairs at the base of the bigger buds are starting to turn amber.

Also, there are almost no more fan leaves on the entire plant. Just trim and buds. From a distance it looks like buds on a stick.

How will I know it's ready?

When they double is size from where they are now.
Is CO2 an issue? The grow is in an empty cabin with nothing really running, besides my lights and fan. As far as I know it's relatively airtight to the outside world. They've been in there for two months, is CO2 (or lack thereof) seriously going to hurt the growth of my buds that much? Is it too late to add CO2 in there?

Your plants look very healthy, just not ready yet. A true saying ''if it aint broke dont fix it!'' Keep doing what you are doing!

Most those white hairs will be brown. But its really the trichs you need to be watching. 2 months in huh? They look like they need another month almost. Bet your just loving to hear that.

I would get some air blowing in there. It will make a big difference.,very big.

It's fine, as long as the "mature" ones don't go bad. I NEED CO2 badly. Any quick ideas? I don't need to worry about time release, I just need to get it asap.

That's what I thought, and that's what my friend said from the beginning. Unfortunately, all the people in Newbie Central seemed to call CO2 "a drop in the bucket".

I want to see one that's as old as the rest under only a daylight CFL with white light... no yellow. I don't know how you could judge every plant there.

To bad i couldnt have gotten you pics of my harvest. Harvested half one plant 5 days ago, half another (had two plants) about 3 days ago, then the rest of the first one yesterday, and prob the other today or tomarrow. Honestly, invest in a AT LEAST... NO LESS THEN 20x zoom loop or similar. Try and find one with a larger focal point... tho it was a bastard finding a 20x for me anyway. Then you can check the Trich's... and usually they go amber form top to bottom, or at least in my case. Stupid camera broke...

But yea... you got a WAYS to go. Read read read. Dont take something as fact until you read it three times by different reputable people. I lucked out when i found that two plants given to me 5 months into veg were female. Been reading more then posting on here, asking questions, ect, and i have smoked a bowl of prev cut and cured bud (for S&G) and wasnt bad... a little untastey cause of a inadequate flush. Chalk it up to exp!

But let it bud a while more, pick up a nice loop or similar, LET IT DRY AND CURE PROPERLY... and you will be more then happy with the results...

What are the white hairs for? If I smoke em will they get me high? Should I let them shrivel up or what? Damn I'm confused!

You dont NEED co2 just plenty of fresh air. Make sure you have fresh air entering your area at all times. One of the BIG problems I see is in the first big pic you posted, the little stringy webs at the top of the pic are an indication of spider mites!!! These things will suck the life right out of your plants, dont take this lightly if you care about yield. Oh, and if you took cuttings from these before you flowered them DONT use the cuttings. I can tell that these plants are in an advanced stage of flowering by the 1 finger leaves at the tops of the buds so they wont be doing much more swelling. You have yourself an inferior strain, what is it? Go get some better seeds or proven clones. If you are only wanting to grow for yourself try a growbox with an exhaust fan for cooling and airflow. The growbox will help you make the most of the lights you're using and also ensure that your plants dont get any light exposure during the dark cycles which can delay ripening or cause hermies. Even a small grow should use at least a 400w HID. Keep trying and good luck!
