i trimmed the leaves already the only thing thats leaving me confused is curing, what exactly do you cure it for? is it necessary to cure it? and after its dry how long should you cure it for? Thanks:leaf:

Yea, when you dry weed the THC turns psychoactive (thats what gets you high) when you cure this process continues and makes stronger smoke. Not to mention much better taste.

Personally I think it should cure for at least a month.

Cureing bud is basically slow drying it to remove chlorophyll and change the cannabinoids to more phycoactive/usable form etc.. When first put in the jars the bud smells bad (like grass) and is really harsh to smoke. Daily burpi9ng of the jars releases moisture and gases put off by the weed and replaces it with good air. properly cured buds smell and smoke really nicely compared to uncured bud. cureing is really much simpler than it sounds at first. the buds i'm smoking now have a nice piney scent and get me quite a bit higher than when I first dried them.

I jar them up between 3-5 days. If you jar them up now watch for moisture build up in the jars. Burp them daily.
