I have 2 plants one from seed and a clone they both were in a soil/coco mix in small planting containers became root bound finally got the rdwc 2 bucket system up and running however the leaves look real low and droopy in both buckets the ph was alil to low but now it appears around 5.2 area so with that being said hopefully it is just in shock from the new big mh light and the transplant from soil mix and will recover at some point?

Like I said I am new to this whole setup.

Also I have the drippers on even though atleast one root from each plant is in the bucket water does this cause problems or wouldent keeping the hydro rocks wet benefit

It's kind of unlikely that roots in the water of an aero grow would be a problem because the primary purpose to using aero is to put a lot of oxygen in the water. You also spray the roots with that mix, which is also necessary. The thing with aero is to be careful how much fert you use because with all the added oxygen, it's easy to over fert your plants as plants use oxygen in the process of taking up ferts. Chances are you pH issue dropping to low was the real problem, not the lighting. I would say that plants experience shock at a change in light. People have been using the idea of shocking plants on web forums for years but is any proof that this takes place? Idea pH for a hydro grow is 5.8. 5.2 is too low. Good pH and ppm metering is essential for hydro grows. If you're using dwc you point is to get roots into the water. The drippers are probably good when a plant is small but may not be necessary as the plant gets older. If roots are long enough to get sprayed on into dwc water, that's probably good enough.
