Awesome movie, 9/10
Pro: Fast paced, lots of action, exciting depiction of the siege of Stalingrad, cool story
Con: The supporting cast is kind of weak, but Ed Harris and Jude Law do a top notch job

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

"Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

Good movie, 7.5. Decent amount of action, cool story, cool stunts and car chases, quality acting and Simon Pegg does a good job at the comedy relief

Collateral - 2/10

Shit was so boring I stopped watching part way through. I got it along with 10 other movies someone left behind when they got evicted. They left a Blu-ray player too but it's broken. :-|

The Gambler starring Marcus Woolberg. 7/10
Whilst watchable and entertaining, this is a very strange film. I'm not sure if the character portrayed by Mr Woolberg is supposed to be psychic or a bad card counter but who the fuck would hit 18 (against any card) playing blackjack?, especially with 10k on the table or whatever it was.
He emotionally blackmails his poor millionaire mother into giving him $260,000 to pay back his gambling debts to the gangsters and avoid himself and his entire family being dismantled piece by piece by large black men who want to 'get medieval on his ass' (that maybe a different movie, not sure) but goes straight to the casino and proceeds to lose the lot in a few hours.
He ends up debt free after rigging some basketball game and later betting $250,000 on black at the roulette table. He closes his eyes because he cant bear to look, but all the other mostly Asian gamblers cheer, he proclaims that he "isn't really a gambler" then runs half way across America like Forrest Gump.
