Rare Dankness breaking ties to Riverrock

Saw this(quote below) on Facebook yesterday. I gotta say it's no surprise... First, their bud quality has fallen way off. Then they sent Bho away, then fired his crew for supposedly stealing. Then their lab was shut down. Their supply of Priva and cbd products was seriously diminished. They never have have bho or fullmelt in stock. Finally started stocking TC labs (at a good price for members btw), but it runs out super fast. Same with the fullmelt, they've been promoting the hell out of it but when you go there it's all out of stock and try to sell you some 45. Even when you do manage to get 70-120, it's not that good. And to top it all off they are now working with a 40 year Monsanto veteran. This really is the final straw.

Can't wait for RD to do their own thing or hook up with some truly awesome growers...

Effective immediately Rare Dankness seed will no longer be working with River Rock Wellness or any of its affiliates.

We at a Rare Dankness hold no animosity to the owners/employees or patients of RRW. I believe, that at this time, our companies philosophies and goals are headed on opposite paths.

My goal and hope has always been freedom for this plant. I want to see Cannabis legalized, decriminalized, and just allowed to exist as any other plant exists. Free from oppression, and available to everyone. I'm a grower and my commitment will always be to the grower.

I realized that in order to maintain our course and commitment to this plant will require RD to take fuller control of all aspects of production.

From seed to harvest, breeding and mother facilities and curing time on flowers. It has become an obsession to bring back herb that has been grown to perfection and taken a step beyond perfection with a proper cure and handled with love and respect.

We are now in the process of finalizing the new Rare Dankness Colorado home, which we are very excited about. We will make that announcement in the next few weeks.

Judging by the quality of RD seeds the past 6 months, I can only assume this is the fault of RD and not River Rock.

I knew something was up when I called River Rock a few weeks ago to ask what cuts/seeds of RD they currently had. When they said they have none at either of their locations, I knew something wasn't right. RD and RR were basically joined at the hip before this. RD even had a RD grow room at the RR facilities.

What's wrong with a former Monsanto employee? Big assumption about persons character simply by where they worked? Too many variables to even consider.
Anyhow, I am less and less impressed with the work I have seen lately from RD. And from pictures alone I want nothing to do with Riverrock. Have not heard a SINGLE good-great review of their products.

Oh well.

Dude, one of my best friends was dating a guy. They both wouldn't STFU about how amazing River Rock was. Organic this, amazing buds that, they literally wouldn't STFU until I went there.

So finally I was like F it, let's do this.

I went there and looked at their buds and thought to myself "is this a fucking joke?"

It was some of the most pathetic looking buds I have ever seen at a dispensary. Wispy, smelled like grass clipping or fish flake food (you know the smell I'm talking about). I don't know if that was because it was 'organic' and they don't use nutes or what, but I left with a bag of 4 corners seeds and nothing else.

Now, that being said, both her and her BF are only into wax and shatter. So RR may indeed have the dankest of dank when it comes to concentrates. I don't ever smoke concentrates, but their buds are a joke.

If I'm gonna buy buds from a dispensary, it better damn well be as good or better than I can grow myself.

Lol, similar situation here but I was sucked in by the rockbudder they used to have. It was pretty damn good. That and their cbd products are why I signed up there.

Their flower never impressed me and fo sho their shit isn't premium or organic. At least not most of it. Some of it is downright bad. I've been there a lot and by the end all but quit looking at their flowers. They do, on occasion, if you are there at the right time, have some fire fresh bud and some nice strains. Gotta catch them filling up the jars of the right strain with the big buds from the back. I will snag some of their Cookies or Blue Caddy once in a while, which is reasonably priced if you are a member. But on the whole, everything has slid way down hill.

PS> I have heard recently that their south location has all the better stuff, and at higher prices, but I've never been bothered to go down there.

You do have a point but they are already falling apart and going the commercial direction. This relationship with this guy, especially considering my own experiences with them and the things I've seen people say online about him and the RR leadership, is a bad thing. Well, depending on your views on cannabis. Clearly RD agrees, and Bho Johnson and others have been talking shit for months.

Fuck yes the rockbudder was THE reason to visit RR when in Dtown.
Flowers not so much but then again I don't fukx with non cured greatness. All you growers know what I'm talking about!

But at $40+ /1,000mg wax... that's over a G wk to meet my medial needs!

Not to mention the levels of inconsistency!!!

Ask any pro wax/shatter/budder makers out there and no one uses flowers for their product and see if they can include a proven test result determining the cannabinoid content.

I went to river rock and was not impressed with the buds I got, I also bought rare dankness seeds from them and I am also not impressed with those, already had 1 dud which sucks when you pay top dollar for seeds I decided to plant a seed I ordered off herbies instead of risking another rare dankness fail seed.
