Rapid Rooter Horror

Hi all,
I had a tray of rapid rooter seedlings in the shed. all plants were doing great. One night , I watered them and removed the humidity dome. Well! almost all of them did a sudden wilt and never returned to health. (they died)
I am trying to figure out what was the cause?

Overwatering?
Heat?
Sudden loss of humidity dome?
Roots sucking the life out of the plant
ph imbalance

I just dont want this to happen again.

Also there is another rapid rooter set up. All still healthy

All the other plants are healthy

The Diesel was the first to go followed by the Ice and Early Misty

I have vents and two fans circulating air. Also I am only blocks from the beach (temps does not get super hot)

I use the rapid rooter,I havent had any problem.I let let the plug do the work.when it drys use a eye droper to water.one droper full.I just mist the inside of the dome. Leave them in the dome till they have two or three sets of leaves. Then I rise the dome up some to let them get more air ,but keep misting the dome.At this point the plugs dry out faster.I use a tray with the seed incert so I can put a 1/2" water in the bottom. Each day I move the dome up higher. Then it time to plant them .Its not the plugs thats giving you problem,I think it humidity. What kind of water are you watering with?Peace
