Rapid Led Onyx Bloom!

Well I got my Onxy Bloom light today guys and let me just give u my thoughts of it so far.
After the unboxing I was pretty disappointed on how small this light really is. The light covered on this light after hooking it up on my veg closet was no wear near 3x3. Now I already figured this out before purchasing so I wasn't to concerned. I see the light being great for summer time when its over 100 plus degrees outdoors. This will allow me to pull a small indoor harvest indoors while I still have my outdoor plants going. Something I could not accomplish with hps indoors unless I had a a/c unit running.

I still need to do a full flower test grow with this light. I am waiting to purchase a new 2x2 tent specifically for running this light in. For anyone interested in getting this light I would say wait! For me the price point at $400 is not worth it for the coverage you get with it. But since I used the coupon code and got it for $300 I say it was worth it at this price.

My next project after testing this light may be a diy cob but I'm still on the fence about it, I feel like I need to do my homework more on cobs and drivers before I even attempt to purchase the supplies to build one.

Here is the light in my veg closet its about 2x4 in size. As you can see the lights doesn't really reach the sides only whats right under it. So I say in a 2x2 tent it should work good.

Did you get more light coverage when u took off the lenses?
I have an onyx, because of its small size and intensity it has really poor distribution needing a tall ceiling for any decent spread.
strongly recommend that you take the cover off, and mount it high enough so you don't accidently touch the electronics while its on.
