What is the quietest air pump out? I want it to be silent if that is possible. I had a stealth grow till I turned on my air pump. My tank is 20 gallons. Thanks.

Most air pumps don't make much noise at all dude, I'm guessing that the bubbles breaking the surface is what is causing all the noise. I use two pumps on my 3 gallon rez and I can't hear the pumps at all only splashing water. I would suggest putting your pump on a sponge or something that will dampen the vibration made by the pump. Good luck

there is 1 at petsmart that is very powerful and quiet. i have it on my setup but cant view it easily or remember the brand. Its smooth egg looking. a little bigger than your average pump and dead silent almost. its 70 canadian and cheaper in us dollars. I'll find the brand. i'll be right back

The bigger the pump the better. I would look for one that is three or four times bigger than your rez. Also look for one with a dual outlet, you won't be disappointed

yah cause youll be covered that way. don't skimp man. i used to and spent more money redoing. your roots can get huge in a small container. 10 gallon right here. these are my 2 foot tall hempstar roots. the roots are 3 feet long. with a little yield like these 3 plants don't sweat the extra 40 bucks. just get it. you'll buy 20 pumps with the weed. good luck man

however you intend to grow. i place the 5 inch pesh pots 1 1/2 inches apart because i grow sog and don't want side branches. depends on how many you want in there. i stick 16 pplants into 2 x 4.
heres a few of the plants. they wont all fit in the pic. 1 pic is old so you can see the spacing. its 2 weeks ago the old 1. the others are 12 hours old
