Quick seedling problem!

so i got this seedling that has just sprouted but seems to be struggling a bit, it still hasnt dropped its seed shell and the end of one of its fetal leaves is extremely hard and brown, just wondering if i should take the shell of myself or just leave it?

yeah man take that thing off. use something other then ur fingers so u dont break the seedling.

yea i had that on one of my babies that sprouted sunday, waited till yesterday to take it off cause it was still attatched.

sweet, will get to taking the shell off, anyone know if its bad genetics or environment that cause weak seedlings?
