I was reading on a couple threads that hydro was suppose to grow faster...does that mean is gets bigger faster during veg? and how much of a difference is there?

DWC vs soil.. same yield in half the veg time. Professionals can do even better.

There's other benefits too.. I've always gotten better nugs in soiless.

They all the same basically.. Just some companies like to spend more money on packaging and advertising to make their product stand out. I'm actually a fan of the A and B in one these days although I only use that for veg... The simpler and cheaper the better IMO.

Demacross: what they've neglected to tell you is that in hydro you don't have the exposure to a lot of the diseases and pests that are common to growing in dirt. I honestly think you can manipulate your grow faster but pH and ppm's are a lot more critical in hydro. You have pH buffering in dirt that you on't have in hydro and a short lapse of attention can kill your crop.

^^ agreed.. its a little more touchy and less forgiving than soil but can grow faster cuz u have more control of the elements ie oxygen to roots, accurate ph/ppm's, and constant feeding/watering.. ever notice with soil when you first water the growth is at its peak but slowly diminishes as it waits for the next watering.. in hydro its pretty close to constant
