Quick Lighting Question

I bought an 1000w MH Daystar Hydorfarm thinking that it would be best for flowering. However, now I see that the HPS system does a quicker job of flowering. If I bought the Hortilux Blue MH bulb, would that compensate and bring the speed of flowering in line with an HPS system?

No, red spectrum is what you need, not blue.

Just get a MH Conversion bulb - it has more red spectrum - I used one for years - flowers great !

actually you need alot more than just red and orange, you need all spectrums including lots of blue
