Quick ?? about curing

I know that when drying not to let any light into the drying space, but when curing I haven't read anything about how light affects it. Would it maintain/increase potency longer if I keep the curing jars in a dark place? or does it not matter after drying?

Light supposedly affects your buds in a negative way but I hang mine next to my veg area and in another room where my gym is with no adverse affects. I think the two factors are time and light intensity. Indirect light for 10 days is not an issue for me.
