Questions About Examinations

Hello everyone, I am a medical marijuana patient in San Diego County in California and will be moving up to Spokane, Washington to go to school at the end of this summer. When I move up to Washington, I obviously want to have access to meds as I did here at home. Is the process in Washington different and will I run into any difficulties when I attempt to get another card for a 2nd state? I want to get as much information about what I need to do for this process and how each region will be different before the time to move comes. Thanks a ton.

À votre santé
Joey

It will be different than what you are used to. If you have a legitimate qualifying condition getting documentation shouldn't be difficult at all. Remember there is no dispensaries up here so if you want meds you can find a Co op or grow your own. I am not sure about Cali but there is no yearly fee or anything in Washington it is just a doctor reccomendation and you can go through certain organizations and pay a 200$ fee to get it. Search around the Washington forums it is all here ;) and good luck

Thanks a lot for your response. I have two more specific questions for you that you might be able to answer. Down here in Cali I injured my rotator cuff in my shoulder and went through a fairly long physical therapy stint to get better, but it still causes me pain all the time. Down here the documentation that I went to therapy and it failed is enough for certification, will that be enough to Washington you think? Also, could you elaborate how the co ops up there work vs how a dispensary works? thank you

I am not sure as far as your first question goes seeing as how I have heard plenty of times that Cali's laws are pretty lenient. However if there is documentation and it is a legitimate pain I am not sure why they wouldn't approve it here. Also I would imagine that if you have talked to your doctor or gone in for checkups after therapy it would look a lot better to the doctors but its a 200$ payment through a lot of organizations and if you don't qualify you do get it back. For your second question Co ops are really faulty and can't speak from experience seeing as I have never been to one. But it is a collection of people who grow and provide marijuana and related products for "donations" because the sale of Marijuana in any form is illegal in the state of Washington. So basically these co ops are riding the line between legal and illegal and it also makes it a lot more difficult to locate than say, walking into a dispensary after buying groceries haha

Contact THCF bro, they have locations in WA,CA and OR. I'd tell them what you want to do and would think they could help you. In oregon you can get a pass for Cali through THCF (google em)
