Hey there. I'm a little slow and lazy, I put some pot oil on to start cooking a little over a week ago.... I have only heated it up for about a six hour period straight. Then once and a have done an hour here and hour there. This is all in a crock pot.
It smells right, but does not look like cooking oil i have purchased before. (My old batch had to be stirred, had a blonde green that would settle.) Anyway, I have read that the resin might bond to the oil without heat if left to sit....(been sittin for a week).\
Anyway.... has the oil not bonded with resin if there isn't the blonde green stuff that settles? Should I keep heating the oil? Should I let it sit longer?
I'm making a test batch for friends so I guess I'll know but I'm sitting here obsessing.
