Question on transition from vegging to flowering

So My 3 plants have been at 5 weeks 24 hr light.
They stand about 1 foot tall and have some good leaf growth.

When is a good time to switch over to flower stage?
Should I top them If I am concerened about growth height?


Should I go 12/12?

I am running 3 100 wt cfls on them, What should I switch up to for flowering?

Sorry to ask so many questions just trying to get variety of tips...

I'd top them unless your in a hurry to get flowering as they are old enough. For height bear in mind that most strains double or even triple in height. Toping will decrease that stretch and increase your yield somewhat.
I don't enough about your yield goals or space restrictions to make any further suggestions.

Those plants could grow three fold higher, I wonder if you need to add more lighting as they may be stretching. I hate topping cause that's some of the best budd! Good luck!

I dont think they are stretched the are really bushy compared to other plants i have seen.
Real bushy in fact lots of foilage..

Those plants look awsome!!! Add some side lighting and don't change a thing. After flowering is over those plants will be huge. Good job!!!
