Question on ph in coco

So I've got a scrog going and the pots are all in a 4x4 tray so hard to check on the ph of the run off but my ph stays stable in the reservoir can I assume that it will stay reasonably stable in the pot or could the uptake of certain elements like an abundance of one in the plant and lockout of another cause the ph to raise or lower depending on which is being locked out

Also if people arnt checking ph run off and plants seem fine do you stick to 5.8 ph or with each mixing raise it gradually up to 6.2 and then start back at 5.8

I've been doing abit of reading on it and it definitely can effect the ph so I'm guessing you could then use the previous input ph and the current input ph and run off ph to help see if there is a lockout but I'm guessing that might highly depend on the element that's being locked out and the amount of time it's been locked out for does anybody know how an abundance of certain elements effect the ph is it as easy as say looking what the ph of the different types of nitrogen your feeding

multi feeds per day at lower EC and you should avoid lockout
I'm in 12/12 now and my lights come on at 7pm I need to hand water for now when would you suggest doing a second watering also I remember reading to not water just before lights out is this correct if not I could water at 6am or do you think would be better at say 11 to 12 pm

i'm in 12/12 too and i'm doing 3 feeds per day (only during lights ON) evenly spaced out. about an hour after lights on, midway and then 1 hour before lights off

last grow i did 5 per day with 1 during lights OFF. i haven't seen a difference (yet)

Thanks where would you start with testing a lower ec with three feedings would you use your original ec and divide by three and take note of any changes

that's hard to say as everybody's grows are totally different. for me, i feed at about 0.8EC with 0.2 of that my well water

you'll have to figure your optimal EC on your own

Ye I get you my water is 0.1 after filter I usually bring it up to 0.4 with calmag the one I've been using has nitrogen in too at 14% so going to switch to my other one without it but when doing multiple feedings should I lower that or do a separate feeding for the calmag

1 ec is 1ec wether you feed once or five times a day. Plants can take a lot. I’m crop steering in coco and stacking ec. I just checked the little runoff that I do get and the ec is greater than 8 (5000+ ppm)because my meter won’t go that high. I’m feeding right around 2ec with jacks with 10 irrigation events a day. Plants are healthy as can be. Athena and floraflex both recommend feeding between a 2-3ec
