Question for the breeding pros

I am wanting to know what a cross is considered if you take already back crossed seeds. well say in the second generationg, and then grow those out and take a male and female and cross that. I know this isnt a bx anymore, but what is it considered..? and will the offspring all be pretty identical considering it was a backcross?

bx is a made up term by stoners
bc2 would denote a hybrid that has been backcrossed to the original parent twice, the results would depend largely on wether the initial p1 parent were from homozygous populations or not and it would be denoted as bc2f1 i beleive. i do not beleive back crossing to be proper breeding, sure it has its place as a tool amongst advanced breeders/growers but i feel these "get rich quick" methods have no place for begginers

haha get rich quick...as if there is such a thing that has EVER worked...I myself have never found a reason to back cross anything, i prefer my stability through selective breeding and furthering the generations, typically finding my keeper in the F3 sometimes (luckily within the f2) generations. With that said, I had come across a strain that I fell in love with (specifically flavor wise) but feel it could be improved upon greatly in areas, in my own opinion. The strain being pre-98 bubba kush from cali connection. I appreciate the clear up on the bx to bc2, I knew that deep down but I am a stoner so most certainly forgot;)
