unnamed-3.jpg unnamed.jpg It's been awhile since i posted anything on RU,so if i'm posting in the wrong place please let me know.I made some cannabutter for the first time about 2hrs ago...I use a crock pot,i used a stick and a half of unsalted butter for 12g of some good weed..i put the crockpot on keep warm and let it go for 18 hrs,i strained with cheesecloth and put it in the fridge..when i finished the straining process the leftover buds were brownish color..My question is does the brown-ish color of the leftover weed make a difference in the cannabutter is it good or bad? sorry for the dumb question, this is my first time makingunnamed-1.jpg cannabutter

The green is the chlorophyll, always best, to use dried cured bud for this, as you may get fat eating all the starch in the chlorophyll ...jk...lol!
actually I find bud that has mold bud rot to be the best to make oil out off, still you may not notice or make that taste, (like eating fan leaves) and can adapt it to your culinary skills ..too!

My question is does the brown-ish color of the leftover weed make a difference in the cannabutter is it good or bad?
All I see here is green, as per above, use a water cure to remove as much starch(green/brown) as you can first
ps you just reminded me ..I got some canna rice in the microwave ...Yuumm!

You take you fresh green buds
and soak them in a bucket of water for 5 days
changing the water every day,
on day 5 hang to dry
...easy peesy ...
no smell, and little taste
...gurgle for more ...lol

Yes it will still be potent,
only rough handling or ice...?
perhaps some other
will knock off or destroy those trics,
water is fine it don't affect them

So cured bud is best ? I got some mites on my fan leaves, and i basically started doing outdoor to make butter and/hash. I was thinking I'd rather boil the mites and eat them - i got a dog's stomach , I've been told. I eat everyting.

Anyway,I'd rather boil the suckers than make bubble hash because for some reason i think they will sink threw and fuck up my lungs? But then again, shit gonna be on fire so.they will die?

So much dam info when i google "should i cure my buds for butter " . Who recommends what ? Total newbie to making butter and hash. But tonights the night. 4 day weeknd
