question about hydro

say you are vegging plants in 3 in mesh pots but you want to grow the plant bigger, is it possible to transplant it to a larger mesh pot? or is that just ridiculous because of all the roots

so should i just start out the small plants i get in 8 inch mesh pots? ( i plan on doing dwc in six 5 gal buckets, but i plan on vegging them in plastic storage containers and moving them to the 5 gal buckets to flower)

just place your 3" mesh pot into you're five gallon bucket with some hydroton in it put it about place about halfway down then cover with hydroton. This also depends on how long you 're going to veg and flower.

yes yes. i want to use 6 or 8 inch pots as i want to veg them to about 3-4 ft because i have the vertical space. but is that doable? to use 6 or 8 inch pots in a storage container to veg then moving those plants still in pot to the 5 gal bucket?

I don't see why not i'm no pro but have done my research.;-) best i can say is try and let me know i'm sure it will work i would stop at 3 ft. 4 should work too.
