Why don't you just use 1000w of quantum boards
7.5A chiller wont low for 1000w on my 20A. The veg room has a 20A as well.

What are those devices that allow you to run a flip flop off the same circuit? Like 15A draw of flowering lights for 12hrs,in one room and 15A draw of flowering lights for the other 12hr? I wouldnt want to trust it to a timer. The consequences are a lot more serious than hermies if the timer fails.

Use the timer output to drive a relay.

If anyone is looking for a cheap IP camera for their grow I found a winner. Like $26 shipped and easy to set up. Install a app on your phone or tablet sign up for a free account, open the app and plug in the camera and push a button on it. The damn thing talks to you and scans a QR code in the app and it's done. HD or SD,night vision, intercom, motion sensor or non stop record with a micro SD card. Got one yesterday and love it and it's a American company.

Nabbed one, thanks for the heads up.

Slightly off topic but may i ask you a question about the 13.5/10.5 schedule using 730nm, plz?

On another thread there was some discussion about daily light integral. I was wondering, if ones flowering space is bright enough to supply more than the optimal dli on an 11 or 12 hour schedule do you think that extending the photopereriod, usinb 730, to 13 or 14 hrs. would still be of benefit? In your set-up do you compensate for the extended photperiod by working with less irradiance?

Appreciate your thoughts.

I usually am not working with a high PPFD, low 500's to 800 tops so I'm not pushing the plants hard. I've found that the longer light schedule seems to shorten flower time in addition to the 730 nm. I've had runs with gorilla glue that I could chop at day 50 with some amber. I bought my first 730 nm light like 5 years ago.

Whats the sequence of operations on that? Does it only, operate once temp hits the temp setpoint? And the idle acts as like a vfd to slow the fan down when it does, operate? I feel like the room wont get hot enough and it will never operate and I wont get air exchange
No it will run the fan at set idle speed at all times. As you get closer to the set point it will ramp up the fan speed. It will keep temps hovering at your set point without ever shutting the fan off. It seems you don't really have enough wattage of lights in your space. Generally a 10x12 room would have 4000+ watts for bloom. My suggestion is to buy either a 4x8 or 6x6 tent. You will be better off in many ways. First with the Mercury 4 you'll be able to dial in temps. Secondly you will have the reflective surfaces of the tent. You could also partition off part of the room but that may not be what you want to do.

Never going back to tents ever! I like space to walk around my plants and check on them. But i understand. Maybe i will partition. I have a bunch of black/white poly.

I have the heat on in the basement. The way I see it at least its radiating up,into upstairs. Lights off last night it was 72 in the room. And right now its 78F on one t stat and 76F on two others. Getting closer.

Now that I think of it I have been running out of space despite having a 10x12 and an 8x8 so maybe I will try and condense my plants. Its just if I put the ones in the back up against a wall itd be hard to access the sites in the way back for scrogging.

Can someone tell me how close I could have my QB600 to my canopy during flower? Is 12 inches too close? I don't think I would have an issue at 12 inches with my QB 260xl but could someone here set me straight on both counts?

Cheers
