Q on heat purge time. firsrt qwiso ever made

You said you rerun the iso till it comes out looking like apple juice? And heat at temps higher than any one has ever suggested using?..unless you want the infamous permagoo....I'm certain you will see a difference using anyone on this forums tek
It will be purged below 20ppm if in thin film and have the powder consistency..literally impossible for it to not be purged based on its vapor pressure and the depth of the oil etc...just not possible.....unless you've clumped/collected the hash .....which you indeed admitted to in post#11

I've just done my first qwiso run using trim buds.

I did a 20sec wash with a tiny slow shake for 5 secs after .

I let it dry in Pyrex dish for 36 hours then scraped .

I've got a small amount of oily amber hash.

Do I need to purge it further ?

have you ever posted test results that proves iso can be purged below 20ppm using only a fan and thin film..?
if so id love too see it.

i do my QWISO just like you for the most part and agree that it is safe to smoke but
i still prefer to use a hot water bath at low temps just to avoid scraping the powdery crystals
not necessarily to purge it

when i do this i do not notice any difference in a loss of taste or smell from terpenes being burnt off
compared to the crystals you prefer

You know we can't get product tested. I do know math and chemistry though, as well as what the safe limits are. Using the thickness of the oil with the vapor pressure of iso and whatever altitude your at etc can guess enough. Really most of us can judge by look or feel if its done. My point was that just because he got something tested doesnt mean it was made properly, or that the new member even did it. In any case its still fine to smoke. People worry to much about purging. Butane is much harder to fully purge though

I prefer my crystallization technique because I don't have to scrape, can just tap it out the pyrex. And the customers love it, that's the most important bit. I mean it does have a higher ratio of lower boiling point compounds maybe for you it wasn't extreme I don't know. Sometimes putting theory into practice isn't so easy.
Nevertheless vapor pressures are non linear, The more heat you use the closer the ratios of what's evaporating. There will be more compounds with lower boiling points in an extract that was purged in a lower temp. My hash though gets very special care, and I do everything possible to keep it pristine. Never heating it, never exposing it to even indoor lighting etc. I basically freeze dry it and doing all the steps in my walk in.

was just looking for some actual evidence to show some of my friends it is safe

is there a way to make it just tap off the pyrex without using a walk in freezer?
