I'm not quite sure yet. I like the virtual sun tent and it's not over my budget. I really like the gorilla tents but they can be pretty pricey

Today is day day 3 of 12/12 and man have they grown a lot. I can't wait for the stretch to come. I set up a trellis for when they get big and try to topple over.

Ya and the virtual sun is like 220 so not that bad for what I'll be able to pull from it. I have one air cooled 600 right now so I'll prob get one more and run 2 4x4 trays. I'm thinking 32-40 plants total. I'd like to have a small veg room and get a perpetual going but the old lady said no to that one lol.

yea thats a lot of plants to keep track of esp if you have a full-time gig.. but yea, 2x600’s in a 4x8 is ideal for any hobbyist... but you deff have to work in a nice veg chamber to get ur perpetual going if your gonna go all out n get that setup going...

sweeeeett!!!! whats your feeding schedule like? how many times do you flood and drain this baby? looks awesome! i can only imagine 2 of these babies!!!

I ended up going with purple diesel for the next run as I wasn't able to get northern lights, deff going to do those my next run, but I went with 16 this time. Fills out the table a lot better and they're all the same height so I won't have one monster and a bunch of little guys. Hopefully get a decent yield this run, I really like smoking the indicas and the purple diesel has a pretty nice aroma. Had anyone else ran purple diesel? How was your yield? How long was your veg? I was thinking of a 4 week veg but I'm going to flip them when they get to about 15" maybe a tad more but I only have about 40-42" of plant height from root to main cola but I'll too so a couple main colas.

I haven't quite decided if I want to do a perpetual or not. I talked to my lady again and not only did she say I could get the 4x8 but she said I could keep the 4x4 also so I'll have a big tent going and a small tent going at the same time.

I feed 6 times a day for 13 min while they are on 12/12. I'll have 3 4x4 tables for my next run. I'm debating wether I should stagger the 4x4 tent and the 4x8 so they'd be about 6 weeks apart for each harvest. That'll give me some time to trim all the stuff from one tent and fill it up than do it all over when the other tent becomes ready to harvest.

If t were me I would use that smaller tent to veg/clone and the larger tent to flower. You could still do perpetual and keep a rotation of plants in early, mid and late bloom phases and harvest every 3 weeks or so. I dream of having that kind of space to work with.

Edit: I just realized (stoner moment) you have flood tables. My suggestion is not feasible.

I was trying to think of how that would work lol. With running hydro tho the veg time is so short, these guys were only vegged for 3 weeks about and they'll hopefully be just over two and a half feet tall. I wish I had a whole room to work with but a big tent and a small tent is better than one.

I've moved towards an almost perpetual system, but I don't have the space to flower more than 2 at a time. I like longer veg periods personally even in hydro because I've found it gives you monster plants.

Only room for two plants in flowering? I like hydro cause I only have to veg for about two weeks and they're almost a foot tall. I did think about that but two weeks before my run isn't too bad and I'll be adding a 4x8 tent to my room in addition to my 4x4 so I think I'll have about 48 going between both tents.

My last run was my first time doing hydro and my second grow over all but I have the flood and drain down very well. Still learning things everyday and soaking up the info but really liking the set up I got.

I flower in a 2 x 4 closet. I've found that I maximize the space by vegging for longer periods (6-8 weeks) and flowering 2 trees as opposed to doing multiple smaller plants. I use a tent to veg and cycle them into the closet as I get my Paul Bunyan on (chop). All of my girls are in dwc or hempy buckets.

Ah ok, ya that's usually easier to manage and you can train them the way you want to and get em to be monsters. Eventually I'll take cuts and than get em in little pots with hydroton than should be able to move them into flower in the hydroton. The dwc and hempy both help get you way shorter veg times, damn so those have gotta be some big boys when you start 12/12

Ya. Usually they are 2-3 feet and bushy. My cycle got thrown off due to holiday travel so my current ladies aren't my usual monsters but this somango widow I've got going looks like is going to give me a nice haul. It's all strain dependent of course, some strains are just short and squat even when mature.

Oh that's a decent size, I think that's about what these purple diesel will get to if their sativa side shows. Ya the holidays can be a little distracting. Do those somangos have a decent yield?

Today is day 8 of 12/12 and man have they exploded. I raised the light a bit so they'll keep getting a bit of a stretch probably for the next two or so weeks. I'm really hoping for two pounds from these guys so two ounces per plant which should be doable if they get big enough.

This is my first time growing somango widow. If I had to guess, it looks like I will pull 3.5 -4 zips off of it. I also see a bunch of popcorn in my future to go with. I have another in veg that I've mainlined to 8 tops to compare yields. I've done hardly an training or pruning to the somango flowering now, so I am definitely going to learn something.

Your ladies are looking good. I have no doubt you will hit your mark or be very close.

Oh that's still pretty decent, I got just over 6 ounces on my last GSC but she was a monster at 3'6". That one should do very well with 8 tops. I topped half of my tray and kind of want to see a comparison of how each 8 do. Thanks man, I've had poison oak for the last week and the girls need their water changed and the lower up-trimming done and some fan leaves taken out but it's clearing up so I'll be in there in the next day or so.
