Purple Kush: Cultivation Profile

Many times I have been told to alter the way you grow a plant according to the strain's preferences to certain variables, like nutrients, ppms, temps, etc. etc...

But finding detailed information about individual strains is harder than one may think. So collectively lets make it easier on everyone by having a page devoted exclusively to purple kush. Anyone who has grown purple kush is welcome to post anything about what it takes to grow a real nice crop of some of the sweet and stanky pk!

To making the world a stonier place

if you have the true pk genes, then you dont really have to try to hard!! I've been growing this strain for almost 2 years now. I just switched her to hydro, and she loves it. in sunshine mix she liked her drink at 6.1ph, and liked it strong. Running lucas formula in hydro setup, and she takes 1800 ppm without as much as a curl.

and for me she has only gone purple on the calyxs, and some small bud leaf's.

I got the clones from a collective thats really in the cut, a hole in the wall for sure, but all the locals in town prefer this place and frequent it over the other weed shops around. And the pk is arguably their best strain. Its always light and fluffy with a 50\50 mixture of light purple and dark green that just got dunked in a thing of sugar.. so i know theyre bombbbb.

And yeah they seem to like the aero setup i have them in. Ive been following the foxfarm feeding schedule to a T and they have responded well to this too, which is a first for me. Although foxfarm is a great program their guidelines are notorious for burning the shit out of plants.

if your pk is anything like mine, it will thrive with tons of nutes. Likei said 1800ppm, at 5 week of flower on, any other strain i have grown burnt around 1600
