I am in the second week of flower in my garden is overgrown I can barely fit in my tent to check my plants I pruned three days before I initially put them in to flower I’m now thinking I should probably prune again I’m just worried about shock and Hermaphrodites.... any thoughts of if it would be wise for me to prune now or if I should just let nature take it’s course and hope for the best

They need pruned for sure, 2nd week in flower is best but keep it to a minimum, maybe about 15-20 leafs from each plant and you will have no probs at all.

I don't lollypop but I do get rid of the very bottom growth as this always just ends up fluffy anyhow but you can still prune in a week or two and will probably need to and done right will be sufficient without any stress at all, iv'e been doing it for years without a single problem.

I just look straight down each kola and clip and heavy shaders. Nohing major. Yes you could do at the same time. Dont go bananas. After the first time in the second or third week. I will maybe do iy again around week 5-6. Then for me no more till harvest if that helps. You can tuck leaves behind nodes rather than cut them. Make your cuts calculated and what you think will benefit certain areas.

A friend of mine was telling me the exact same thing I’ll start off by doing that in doing only 20 leaves down at the bottom and then I’ll do it again around week five or six I just worry about putting them into shock while they’re in flour

Gene has the best course-selective pruning of leaves that block to much light from the plants interior. Don't be surprised at having to do this on a weekly basis-it will continue to produce fan leaves and turn into a mass of leaves.

I dont think youll need to do it weekly. You might have an aggressive grower that needs it. If anything, and its not my recommendation. You could trim heavy the last two weeks when you are wrapping your grow. I have a couple of buddies who swear by it, and have read it can increase rosin production by making the plant think its about to die and attempting one last hail mary. I make no claims of the validity of this statement.

OK thank you I’m in the second week of flower I’ll do a trim now and then I’ll wait to the fifth and sixth week and try that to see what it does that way hopefully it will produce more good bud and Less leaf production... Just nervous as this is my first indoor grow doing DWC on my own

Whatever you miss or waiver on today can be dealt with later. Pace yourself and there wont be any reason to be nervous
