Pruning Autoflowering Plants

I know that training methods are limited to basically LST with autoflowers. When it comes to pruning, is it best to leave the plant as is, or is pruning acceptable?

I prunned, topped and mainlined auto amnesia and instantly it got hermied.
But i had really small space with extremlly shitt light.
Dont go excessive you will be fine but in the outcome you will not have increase like 10 percent just gonne have trained plant and hobby time spend with it.

So with autos would you recommend just letting them do their thing more or less? Maybe just LST to open the canopy and prune dead leaves only? Just dealing with the dilemma of deciding how many plants I can cram into my tent.

I generally do a bit of low stress training, lollypopping (mainly if the plant's pretty tall) and supercropping (again, if the plant is too tall, getting too close to the light). No hermies or issues, apart from being top-heavy, haha.

How big is your tent? What are you planning on growing?

My tent is 5'x'5'x6'11. My grow light is a 715w actual draw COB LED. I'm still debating on whether to go soil or hydro. In regards to strain, I've been looking at various ones by Fast Buds and Sweet. I'm debating between Jack 47 or Blackberry. I'm not even totally sure on plant count yet either. As you can see, I'm all over the map. I'm used to photoperiod grows, so auto flower is a bit new to me. Trying to figure out what the honest yields are, flowering time, etc. I'm rambling now, I blame the medication I'm taking. ;)

If you have any suggestions, I'd love to see them! I'll be buying seeds, so just about any strain is up for consideration right now.

I have some Auto Blackberrys going now and they smell great. This was my 1st time growing autos. I wasn't sure if trimming them was a good idea so I just did a small bit of LST and let them do their thing. I have 3 going and only 1 of them is a real dark purple/black color the others have all kinds of green and pink/purple hues.

How far along are you? Are you in flowering yet? The Blackberry strain definitely looks tempting.

I started them on 6/30/2016 so they are about 56 days in now and they a def flowering . I made a mistake going by the breeders flower time 60 days. I started some photo OG Kush and Strawberry Cake at the same time now I am about to run out of room in my tent once I flip them to 12/12 because they will grow more. I have a taller tent coming in next week so it should be ok. You can see the photos on the right and the autoblackberry on the left.

How much does the blackberry smell? I'm trying to be somewhat stealth. I do have a tent and carbon filter, but still worry about the aroma.

To me it isn't that bad as long as the tent is closed but when I open to view them or water then the funk is booming!! It smells like a very ripe cantelope/berries. It smells great to me. I was using a carbon filter on my exhaust but I don't really need it and have removed it.

Kinda looks.like we are all going for a dip on the auto train sweet .I'm running that blackberry auto from.fastbuds
It's day 3 for me I got tiny sprouts

I prune and bruise mine. I have never had an autoflower go hermie on me from my regular stress. I gro autoberry, lemon haze auto and think different. The only way I get them to hermie is with colloidal silver.
