Prominent Climate Scientist: Glaciers Will Melt Faster

How many of the cited peer reviewed studies did you read?
i read the first one and it debunked itself.

it did not even attempt to contradict manmade global warming, it just said it was not gonna be as bad as NASA predicted.

but it was exactly as bad as NASA predicted.

so no contradiction and the paper refuted itself. so i was lied to about 1350 papers.

retarded waffle.

I believe, and have been taught, that "Global Warming," which is now called "Global Change" or even simply "Climate Change," is an absolute fact since the early 90's.
Anyone who dares to challenge it will eventually have to admit they are wrong. The one scientist left that the Koch brothers used to discredit the science of climate change, has come out admitting he was wrong sometime earlier this year. The right has NO ONE to support their stupid assertion that climate change is merely theory.
AGAIN, NO ONE IN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMNUITY BELIEVES THAT CLIMATE CHANGE ISN'T OCCURRING.
So now the right is trying to claim that it's not caused by our modern human lifestyle, so they can live comfortably without challenge, for now at least.
That being said, I recently watched a documentary called Cowspiracy. What I learned from that was, if we were to address the methane from cow flatulence we could actually slow down climate change drastically, as methane is a more effective form of greenhouse gas than CO2 is. Our silver bullet or stop gap measure to stop or slow climate change might be as simple as discovering a food additive to stop cows from farting. Serious. By removing methane produced from all those cows we could avert disaster.
It doesn't change the fact that we still need to address all the environmental problems associated with industrial livestock production, but it could be a step in the right direction.

Their story is constantly changing (which is funny considering that's the accusation they make towards the scientific consensus..), first it was "it's not happening", then "well, it might be happening, but it's all natural..", then "well, maybe it's not all natural, but we don't know how much is man made..", followed closely by "the economy comes first, we can't afford to get off fossil fuels, green technology isn't economically efficient enough yet!", especially ironic since former EPA administrator, appointed by Reagan, Christine Todd Whitman, said in a hearing in front of the Senate environmental protection committee the two are not mutually exclusive. Now it seems to be "so what if it's happening! It's good for the planet!"...

I see two groups of people still pushing the idea that climate change either isn't happening and man isn't responsible, or that it's good for the planet; the "do-gooders": the people like the members here who oppose action against ACC, for the most part, there are probably a couple exceptions. They're ignorant of how science works and don't understand the implications of doing nothing, and they're politically biased by a conservative agenda. The other group is made up of the people who know it's happening, know we're responsible, and are normally the ones who profit off of keeping the do-gooders in a state of perpetual ignorance.

Greenland’s undercut glaciers melting faster than thought

Greenland's glaciers flowing into the ocean are grounded deeper below sea level than previously measured, allowing intruding ocean water to badly undercut the glacier faces. That process will raise sea levels around the world much faster than currently estimated

The article published by NASA cites the following peer reviewed study:

Maybe if we get a pack of liberals from all over the world, including Moonbat Jerry Brown, to sign a meaningless declaration, we can get some traction on this whole MMGW scam.

Oh, already happened.

Well, don't forget that any good MMGW declaration MUST involve the transfer of wealth from Americans to other countries.

Oh, they got that covered too.

How about we time the release of accelerated melting on the heels of the conference?

Done and done.

This is some good shit. Now all we do is stand back and watch the waves of skeptics changing their minds and coming over to the dark side.
Yea, the last piece of the puzzle was getting the pope to scare all the Catholic zombies from 3rd world nations and to call for World Government... I guess someone got to him and threatened to expose his nude pics if he didn't go along.

Who am I to say, but Didn't Gore say that New York would be under water by 2015? I'm no scientist, but I haven't seen any sea level changes. Also, are they accounting for a pickup in Antarctic Ice? Sea levels have drastically risen and fallen all throughout the Earth's history. Also, why does nobody account for change's in the Sun's activity? From what I have read Mars and Jupiter have also warmed. One more thing. Why should anyone trust NASA scientists? Ironic how NASA sounds like Natzi, which is the people that started NASA.

I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong, but this sounds like a scare report.

The idea of MMGW has been around for a while. Have any of you had to move your beach homes back from the surf line? There is a peninsula by me that is probably 1 ft above sea level. That town looks the same as it did 15 years ago. NYC was supposed to be Atlantis by now,, I'll believe it when I see it and until then I'll be doing my part to conserve and protect the Earth as much as I can.

If people are the problem, and this will probably kill some off... shouldn't we just let it happen, it's the earth getting a fever to fight the infection. *jazz hands*
