Problem

Hi I'm new to dwc I started rooting clones through my tent in rock wool just put a humidifier in and had it at 80%-90% everything rooted well this clone has roots but has not reached water yet like the others and it's giving light green color any tips ? Ppm is 500 something ph range between 5.5-6:4 water temp about 20 C the clone also came from a struggling mother that I was reviving back to life but cut losses and just cloned to keep strand going she was green before I started the cloning process 40D94BDC-963E-4505-A8A6-B5921D2B604C.jpeg

Bring the water level to the bottom of the cube 1 time, or at least very close to where bubbles and splashing keep the cube wet till the roots chase down

I missed that u had a drip system. Is it a drain to waste or a drip dwc? How often does your drip run? I would actually make sure the cube was getting wet. Hand water every 8 hrs and see if she gets better. If your sure the cube is wet can I see the bottom of the net pot and roots

Where is your drip system? I see moist Hydroton around the outside of the plant but it looks pretty dry toward the center?

Those drip rings r useless imo. They r either buried and not effective, or splash everywhere n fry the young plants. I would forget the ring all together and bring up the water level as previously stated. Drip only matters in drain to waste if you ask me...

Not sure if you can see it but it's a circle ring drop it's pushed in the pebbles and yea I know for a fact it's some dry spots
Listen to Prophet and bring the water level up. When I ran top lines they were just 1/4 open tubing spraying just to the side of the stem (soon to be trunk at the rate NFT ran).

I switched to all Rockwell these days, but when I was dwc I eventually used a individual submersible pump in each res and used a PVC pipe and fittings to bring the water up and spray back down on the surface. I stopped with air pumps as well. I would actually recommend not using air stones and just letting the big bubbles fly. Breaking water surface is the best way to oxygenate, not more small bubbles. You can still use your air stones as sinkers tho...

Always good to know since I like to fish.

I went to a slower medium. Pure hydro was hard work and I'm lazy, but curious, it's a curse.
