Premixing nutrients

I am getting ready to go on a 14 day vacation and have my brother taking care of the grow, I am wondering if anyone has experience (good or bad) premixing a nutrient tea this far ahead, I normally mix the night before in a 5 gallon bucket with an air-stone using the root organics buddha line. I am trying to make things as easy as possible for him since he will have to care for two locations with 99 plants each and I don't really trust his measuring skills as it is.:leaf:

Seal the bucket as best possible, make sure he stirs it up well before use and check PH levels. Keep in cool area not too hot or cold. That'd be my best advice. If he's trust worthy enough to tend to plants, he can't mix up small nutrient solution? (Honest question)

Thanks for the reply, I am debating on going with a similar method or paying my brother some cash (since he just lost his job) and forcing him to do all the work. I have seen him cook and he overdoes everything so if I make him mix the nutrients I will have to get measuring cups that are the exact size for my buckets and hopefully eliminate any thing but under fertilizing as a possibility. Stuck debating now I promised him a couple ounces for caring for the garden and would probably have to spend 500 or so if I paid him as well.

Yup sounds about right. Once you get into the "promising" game you are screwed. And yes your going to have to pay him.

Scenario: You get back from vaca ... hand him a couple of zips. And then you noticed a slight difference in him. It's called Gree(n)d. And the first time it happens to you it's going to piss you off and blow your effing mind.

He is going to have two zips in his hand and then look at you like "wheres the rest..YOU OWE ME". Your then going to have to hand him some cash while he bitches the whole time about the work he had to do (for you) and how it was much more than he thought...yatta yatta. Weather it be directly or indirectly he is going to bitch and hang it over your head...even when you pay him.

Oh and when those 2 zips run out...he is going to come a knocking to reminded you how he "helped" you that one time and you should give him some Green.

All I'm saying is be careful with that shhhh. Gree(n)d can be a bitch and she tends to come from effing left field.

I would sit down with him have a UPFRONT conversation. Lay that shit on the table. Talk about money, green, what he expects from you, what you expect from him...ect. Don't tip toe around shit...if it's on your mind speak on it (in a respectful way). I would even have him and you sign a confidential agreement just for you two no one else. So if there is a disagreement you and him can refer to the "written" agreement to square things out.

I would not be as concerned about your nute problem as I would about the "helper" problem. And if you are going to pay him +2zips he NEEDS to show he knows how to measure properly. And you should express this as a concern when "sitting down" and ask him to brush up and make sure he measures correctly as...you are Paying him $$$$ and expect to be treated fairly...meaning...he needs to measure that shit right...no matter what. And call you if there is a question.

I digress....best of luck.
