pre flower???????????????

Ok pre flower,do you have to cut the lights from 16/8 to 12/12 to get pre flower? Because I have grown from seed 4, 5 times and as soon as I fim top and get growth I kick it in to 12/12 with much success. I have gone straight to flower I have never seen pre flower should I let them grow longer to achieve pre flower

u will get preflowers about a month into veg
u dont have to switch over

i like to wait untill i see one of two things, if not both, before i switch my plants over to flowering.. the first of these is uneven nodes.. when mj plants start out, the branches come out evenly, one on each side of the main stem, but as they get older and closer to sexual maturity, the branches will start to come out unevenly.. this is one sign that she is getting near sexual maturity and is ready for flowering..
the other thing that i look for is preflowering.. preflowers are also a very good indicator that a plant is nearing sexual maturity, and is ready to go into 12/12..
of course you can always flower them before you see any of the signs that i stated above, just like a 14 year old girl can have a baby.. and although that baby maybe healthy and happy, i highly doubt that it would be as healthy and happy if it were to come from a twenty something who is well established in life with both a good job and a loving partner..
oh well, thats the way it was explained to me and it made a lot of sense.. hope it helps you out like it did me..
