whats the difference between a tiki god and a totem god? that shit has been in my mind since i was nine.

totem is indian with feathers in their hair, not the dot heads.

Totem poles aren't really for "gods" - they are in reverence to the spirits of animals. Each animal on the pole is associated with different aspects - Such as owl for wisdom, coyote as a trickster, bear for strength, wolf for loyalty, etc.

Tiki statues are representations of gods and each god will have different aspects, much in the same way the totem poles do.
