alright i have waterfarms and my ppm goes up about 100 and my water level drops whats wrong

Although you didn't list pH change, it appears your plants need a little leaner mix. I don't know where I found it, but the following helps me understand what's happening when there are changes in my res:


PPM goes UP and PH goes DOWN = Plants require LESS nutes.
PPM goes DOWN and PH goes UP = Plants require MORE nutes
PPM stable and PH goes UP = Good thing.

your solution need more water when the ppm is higher then the begining.
that mean they used the water cuz they were sweating
and some water evaporate too.
When the ppm is lower then the begining it means means
they have been eating the nutriments and they love it .

As the plants grow they use water, water from the res. 1 of my 2 foot mother plants can drink 5 gallons of water every 4 days, shes a bush though and has provided many cuttings. If your PPM is only going up by 100 every res change then that's hardly anything to worry about, you can't expect the plants to use every bit of nutrient you throw at it. You should top off the res with PH balanced water every day or couple of days to ensure things don't get too out of whack.
