Haven't quite been to full strength. Around 3/4 is what I've got up to. I didn't feed any grow big this time. Just cal mag and big bloom. In ocean forest. Ph 6.5 or 6.6. Temps low 70s with light on 65 with it off. 7 weeks old. Just topped. My other one isn't doing it really. Just one leaf has a spot or 2. But it's in happy frog. It's hard to see the spots with my hps on

Big bloom and grow big are fox farm products. You said house and gardens. That would be soil a and soil b. Not that that really matters. Yes looks like a mag deficiency. It isnt your fault the over feeding. The nutrient companies write there directions with the assumption your under 1000w. Many dont know there is a direct relation between the amount of light and nutrient use. Plants unser 400W light is all ready using less than half the nutes as one under a 1000w.

I never said I was using house and gardens.. Somebody else may have. I know I am using all fox farm products. But cool I watered with a good amount of cal mag so hopefully that will stop it.

Yup, that is what I’ve been using for several grows now.
It ain’t holding a candle to what you’ve been doing. The stalks on my most recent attempt are looking better.
I’m doing well up to week 5 of flower, after that, everything is going wrong. Very impressed with your grow.

Topping the plant might stress the plant a little but it would not cause the brown spots. The yellowing between the veins of the leaves is likely magnesium deficiency. The brown necrotic spots are possibly calcium IDK.
My last two grows in soil I had 3 noticeable deficiencies. Nitrogen, magnesium and calcium. Same three are showing up this time. I can show pics of the mag and nitrogen def on these plants. The calcium def was stopped quickly and would be hard to capture in a picture. I can find lots of old pics of calcium deficiency but they may not appear on my plants the same as yours.
To Daveindiego. Week 4 - 5 are very common times for a grower to run into problems. Yesterday was 3 weeks from flip for me. It is a crucial time for me to keep an eye on my plants to see if I am going to run into issues. I still have between 8 - 10 weeks to go before harvest.
Everybody succeeds in different ways.
This is what I do at this time when I have a deficiency. A year from now I might be doing things differently.
For calcium deficiency I use cal/mag+
For magnesium deficiency I use Epsom salt.
For nitrogen I use blood meal (not recommended by some members) and just bought Alaska fish fertilizer to try today. Hope it does not stink to much
It is important to note that many growers who run into a calcium deficiency in soil are getting it from watering to often, not letting the soil dry out causing a nutrient lock out. When someone does that a common time for the calcium deficiency (lockout) to show up is in the 3rd or 4th week of flowering.

I watered with 7.5 ml cal mag a gallon and 11 ml big bloom last night. Do you think I need to flush my soil? Sorry, I am not qualified to answer that. I can only say I will not flush my soil. I have reused it several grows and needed to leach it of a build up but that is different from a flush.

I was just fixing to begin flowering to. I transplanted Thursday night into final pots and everything looked fine. Put my hps in Saturday to let them get used to it and then Sunday I noticed a bunch if leaves with spots and some edges curling up. They looked really good up until yesterday. I think it's a mag deficiency but I've been using cal mag every watering but not full strength. I don't know what to do.

That's why I say to look for Ca/Mg based in Calcium Carbonate and not Cal Nitrate.....
