ppm levels for soluble soil nutes?

I like to know ec/ppm just as a reference point, that way if I have a deficiency or burn I know if i should go more or less. Unfortunately there have been inconsistencies with some products on the market, so it is also a good way to make sure that it is the same every time too. It is definitely not as important as it is in some hydroponic set ups though.

It differs from strain to strain, and even phenotype to phenotype sometimes. My rule is to always start with lower than recommenced dosages and if I don't see any issues I know I may be able to push it a little harder the next time (not same plant, I mean the next time you have that phenotype at that stage of growth).

After 2-3 crops I feel I know what my EC sweet spot is on a particular phenotype for each stage of growth. If you are a grower who is always strain hopping obviously this technique is not for you, and I don't have any advice for that style of growing, because it is not how I garden.
