PPM for soil

Because foxfarm is retarded. Don't read up on it then I don't really care. It is true every other thread is about fox farm and some kind of problem people are having with it.
They'd be out of business. Take off your tinfoil hat bud.

9 out 10 problems people have with FF is using veg nutes with ocean forest and burning their plants up.

Know what amazes me about a lot of these opinions, mainly ones that say PPM/PH does not matter in soil? Is that they can get any good crop thinking like that. I'm specifically talking about all those living soil guy's that say everything balances naturally so there is no need to measure PH/PPM. I'll tell you what, why don't you piss on your plant and see how it adjusts to that PH. I'll bet you it wont.
Living soil takes YEARS to develope, not 4 months in a little pot. It's a joke to think the micros in the soil will balance the shit out in a few months.
Why add lime? PH isn't important, right? Why check PPM/EC the soil will balance it, right? Total shit,

OK SO, I HAVE BEEN GROWING FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. I HAVE A 600 WATT LIGHT SYSTEM. I USUALLY HAVE 5 PLANTS IN THE SPACE, I USE FOX FARM NUTES AS WELL AS THE SOIL (OCEAN FOREST). I WOULD LIKE TO START DOING THE PPM IN MY GROW BUT ALWAYS SCARED I WAS GOING TO RUIN MY GROW. NOW I WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW A LITTLE BETTER. COULD ANY ONE EXPLAIN PPM AND HOW TO ADJUST. LIKE I SAID IM USING THE FOX FARM TRIO NUTES
Measure all nutrients to achieve 700-800 PPM per gallon. Use that in soil, all will be good

But guys wouldn't knowing your ec/ppm be helpful in knowing how strong you feed is? For example, 2ml of Dyna FP has always worked for me from start to finish.... now lets say I were to switch over to Fox Farms line... I never follow the bottles instructions cause they tend to be too strong. However, if I know that "X" works, my npk ratios are similar for "Y", then at the same ec/ppm level they should in theory give similar results...

Fox farm works for me just fine, on my 2nd year with it. My plants almost never have deficiencies, always green. I use the Fox Farm Trio, Recharge from Real Growers & I been using some Heavy 16 sample bottles i got from my local grow store. Of those I use Heavy 16 Foliar, Fire, & will be testing out Heavy 16's Finish (FLUSHING AGENT) on one plant.

Why would you need to monitor ppm's in soil tough makes no sense?
I'll tell u why. Well if ur using ff soil it only has enough nutrients for 3-5 weeks of growth so ur gonna have to feed at some point, well atleast I do and I like to check the runoff so i can monitor the ph and EC to make sure everything is where it needs to be. I guess if ur using organic nutes then no need to check but I'm using green planets gp3 so yeah
