Powder vs Liquid .. thoughts

I'm switching from AN .. I've had my eye on blue planet nutrients & the flora series using ( Lucas 8/16) or Maxi grow & bloom. I'm thinking powder nutrients overall would last longer and would be easier to mix but.... it doesn't seem like many choices and I'm wondering why?

because it is tough to get consistency within the package, it may be weighed out and mixed perfect at the factory but over time the elements of heavier weight will settle to the bottom thus fucking up your ratios, liquid the same happens but you can just give it a quick shake.

I remember there was a lawn seed company that had this problem licked , they would bond glue the elements to the seeds in different sections like a rocket Popsicle.
This would involve a big cost so it would be tough for a non monsanto company to do. That being said there are lots of granulated and powdered recipes you can mix your self wit great results.

I guess you need to tell us why you want to change , if it is just cost I would consider what the value of your weed is to you and if you would want to chance the quality, and quantity to lower your costs. As a guy who has been doing this for 20 some odd years I would say to you

IN THE NAME OF JOHN A. MCDONALD AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE YOU STUPID, STUPID MAN, DO YOU EVER LEARN!!!!!!!! but that is more me giving myself advice.....that I never listen to.

I've been using jungle juice ( I know) it's just not right and seems really salty. I guess that's why it's been discontinued. Even when running Lucas the plants react weird at times. It's something about this formula that's not consistent and I'm trying to find something better.

Look at jacks or the growmore powdered line. 25# for 50$ ain't bad.
Growmore Mendocino line was formulated for cannabis. Added carbs, aminos, micros, and CA.. I run the triple 20 in veg and 6-30-30 in flower. Works great. Coco DTW.

Go on youtube and GrowMau5 did a video on a grow light he built about 8 months ago. He tested Jack's against an expensive ;iquid MMJ brand. It was a tie. I have used Hydro Gardens dry or powder nutes and they are great and inexpensive,,

If you purchase in smaller reasonable sizes (kg realms) shaking them up is fine, same as is done with liquids. The big lb+ sacks you can buy may be cheaper by bulk but imo highly impractical for small scale use. Reason for this are as you described but also from an air moisture/storage angle.

I saw the light last a few days ago ( I really wish he had those for sale) Thanks for the tip on the nutrients. I really didn't wanna go with the Maxi series since GH has been bought out by the enemy. I'll most definitely look into Hydro Gardens.

I can vouch for the Jack's, I've used their Jacks Citrus outdoor and for vegging in low ppm's and gotten great results. I wish it were available here in Canada, ends up too expensive with shipping no matter where I can source it.

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

I've used the dry mix before, lasts for ever, easy to measure and mix. I'd recommend it if you plan on using nutrients for an extended period of time.

I can legitimately testify that Blue Planet Nutrients is a top quality product. Using their 3 part base in addition to other beneficiary supplements, myco, b vitamins, silica for example will give you results I think anyone would be more than happy with.
