I think he was talking about the peat pots. They don't break down like they're supposed to.in the very begining you mention the peat pucks?? so are you saying that when you germ your seeds in peat pucks or whatever...that when placing them in final pot....to break up the peat puck??
Peace
nice plants
yes i even do it to my rockwool cubes. i'll pull one side off and you can do that with out harming the roots.in the very begining you mention the peat pucks?? so are you saying that when you germ your seeds in peat pucks or whatever...that when placing them in final pot....to break up the peat puck??

the branches are always going to grow a ways past the roots. the porpose of this is to shad the soil or dirt over the roots. It's always been obvious that the more roots a plant has, the larger it is. But I never realized that plant diameter was proportional to the container diameter. Very interesting.

i myself as soon as my clones are ready to transplant and my 19gollon pots are avalible they go right into them. this way the roots can grow with out restrictions. its when they get root bound or you just start off in smaller pot its going to take the roots a bit longer to takeoff vers going strait into the big pot right off the get.Nice vid man, how soon can you put a seedling into a large pot like tho's big buckets you have there?
Ill have to get some pics up...

sorry no pic came up. you could do it now.you don't want to wait tell they are big cuz theres a chance of harming the plant. if you have the room and the light go big bro. good luckHere's a pic, how long to ya think? Iv some huge pots out in the yard, you could nearly swim in the things

well i have had shit freeze in my grenhouse at 25 degress. as for brute weather im sure its not good as a babieGood stuff. My heads kinda wrecked with this one, see i was going to put it out in the wilds butnow im not so shure. I have 6 bag seed 2 durban poison and the one super skunk( the pic). Im defo putting the bag seed and the 2 poison outside but im thinking of keeping the skunk on location in fear that it might get sick or a bad case of the rot.
See i live in Ireland and the weather is fairly shit and the skunk is a indoor strain, do ya think it would cope with the punishment of the irish weather?
Im not so shure...
Cheers.

man that sucks. ya i was stillin the greenhouse in november trying to start shitoff when that freeze snuk up and got me. as for rain i do get a lot here so a green house is perfect for my area.We never really get a frost till around mid november and the weather stays fairly warm but the humidity would beup in the 80s and 90s, it normal pisses rain all summer. shure ill repot it and leave it in the yard evey day theres a bit of sunshine.
I remember there 2 years ago if lashed out of the heavens over here for the same amount of time that reanna umbrella tune was no.1
" The Phoenix Park in Dublin had 297mm of rain in two months, the highest level in its 170-year records, while Mullingar had its wettest July since 1960. "
Noah's ark shit it was.
