I'm not reading this whole thing, but pot ain't legal. I'm sure someone else has pointed that out but just to make sure.
I have never heard of indian lake, but round here if you get busted for smoking in public they normally just take your stash and tell you to do that kind of shit on your own property. Just don't be a dick, because they can haul your ass in and be a Buzz Killington. You wont end up in court though.
That's not what I was asking about, but if you had read even the first post you would know that that's exactly what this thread says... that you will not end up in court, or will beat the charges. This makes # how many who got off on that wrong tip?

A book called "Criminal Pleadings & Practice in Canada" might help.. Google books covers alot of it..
The Crown has limited ability to appeal not guilty verdicts.. I can't imagine many possesion cases satisfying those criteria, and beyond that I don't think they'd want to risk the bad press.. The vast majority of the Canadian public feels its a waste of money to drag possesion cases into court once, let alone twice..
