Pot company recalls cannabis product sold in Alberta over contamination concern

TORONTO - A Toronto-based company has ordered a recall of a cannabis product sold in Alberta due to contamination concerns.

Newstrike Brands and its Up Cannabis subsidiary say the recall is a precaution because tests have found mould and microbial contaminates that exceed acceptable limits.

The recall involves 1,428 units of one lot of Up Cannabis seven gram dried cannabis jars sold to the Alberta Gaming Liquor & Cannabis Commission.

Newstrike says the affected cannabis has a Nov. 28, 2018, packaging date and was sold only in Alberta.

It says to date there have been no complaints or adverse reactions to the pot.

People can return it to where it was sold for replacement or a refund.

On the upside, at least the company taken responsibility and acted as quickly as possible... unlike big pharm companies that know of all the bad shit their products do with massive side effects that can ruin someone for the rest of their life, who toss billions at gov in the US to loophole it to death so they can keep it on the market for a few decades... Im one of those former people who was duped by drs for about 2 decades and health declined severely, until I just stopped them, detoxed from their bs meds and started smoking... So far, my blood pressure "for the first time" has fallen well below what drs wanted it in the target range of... diabetes while still slightly high, is MUCH lower now then when I use to take their bs metformin and crap...

Personally, I think a huge contributing factor is, when I smoke, I dont crave alcohol, soda, and actually eat much healthier. Plus I dont even crave ciggies any more. Not because I have to, but because I want to when smoking... But hey, my state will be the last to ever make it legal, trust me...

Must be tough making money when your product is recalled to the garbage can out back....hahahahahahahahahahaha

McDonald's is in business because they understand people. And how to program them.

I'm building a greenhouse to grow winter greens. It seems lettuce these days is killing people. I can't imagine what some would spray on weed.
