posts in heavy traffic active threads not always in order

@sunni
I have noticed (more than once) that posts come in late and "fill in" later where the time stamp would have put them,
But the post was not there for a while (usually minutes)...

I noticed this when re-reading a thread...that a particular post was not there when I read it earlier and the posts in question were in no way controversial... but they appear later, in their proper time stamped location in the thread...

Disclaimer: I'm not making this up and I wasn't too stoned

It's a minor thing, but it's weird to me... you guys ever notice this, ESPECIALLY during a heavy traffic thread?

Just one thread ? Or multiple ?
3 different threads recently, and I thought I saw same thing before but dismissed it as 'seeing things'. I'm certain now. A heavy current traffic thread will have say 25 posts...then it's 26 with a post filling in between 20 and 21, thus becoming the new #21. Everything time stamped in perfect order...(this is a generic example), the #21 came in late and posted AFTER 22, 23, 24 & 25...but in perfect time stamped order.

When this happens are you clicking the little link that comes up and says
"New posts have posted display now" or something like that
Or are you refreshing in your browser ?

Sometimes neither...I will be going from thread to thread, and when I go back to the 1st thread, I'll notice a post that wasn't there before...not at the bottom, but several posts up...it took it's time stamped position late. Other posts already posted after it, were lined up in the thread 1st...then the 'straggler' post filled in to where it's time stamp properly fits...it's very weird.

It's hard to notice and it's when it's a heavy traffic (lots of rapid posts) thread. I noticed it when I posted a thought, then noticed someone posted a similar thought a half dozen posts up the thread that was not there when I posted mine. BUT, posts AFTER it (the similar thought) were already on the thread after it, then it filled in to it's sequential location where it should have showed up earlier. If that makes sense. It's hard to accurately put this into understandable words maybe?

Sounds like a multi tasking issue related to latency. Probably using the wrong time stamp for sort.
I've seen several bugs in the mobile web interface but they're minor...
