Post your pvc scrog pics...

OVer the years, i've grown tired of framing stands, scrogs, etc, etc with wood. Sick of all the screws for the trellis, etc. On my current hobby room, I'm about to set up a scrog with PVC, probably 3/4". I will not be gluing the PVC so I can easily break it down or make height, width adjustments if necessary. I've got a pretty good idea of where I'll be using 90 degrees, Ts, etc and how I'll be setting up the base, center, and top. I want to have the first set of trellis about 18" above my net pots, then another set 9" above that (my buddy is using these measurements and is killing it). I will be attaching and tightening the trellis nets with zip ties only. This, again, will make width, tightness, etc adjustments much easier.

Show me your pics!

i am doing the same thing but why are you having multiple trellises :S? surley you would just have the one at the top and then lollypop any branches under the canopy that didn't make it so when you switch to flower you focus all the energy for your top buds during the stretch and where did u get the pvc stuff from? im guessing your growing in a tent? and you are going to zip tie the corners of your trellises to the poles of the tent?

Double net trellises work great with stretchy strains, really holds the colas in place and keeps them from laying on each other

I'm planning to use the lower trellis to spread out the branches and to allow a top or two to form in each of the squares then, as bustin said, the upper trellis holds each kola in place to keep it from falling or flopping. I will be building the pvc frame from simple sprinkler pvc and attaching the trellis netting at the corners and sides of the frames. A lot of people do this, just looking for pics to see if there's some novel trick I may want to add when I build it. Shouldn't take me more than a half hour at Depot and an hour or so to put together.

Here's a rough example of what I'm talking about (except I'll be using trellis netting, not chicken wire) http://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/1371/day25-clones.jpg

there are two large scrog threads in the advanced section where most of the scroggers post.
If you get no action check there.

I might be a little weird but I use a 1/2" pvc outer frame(just smaller than my little tent) with fishing line tied every 3 or so inches apart in a grid pattern. I attached it to the brackets on top of the light with repurposed coat hangers 12" or so below the light. So as I move my light the grid moves with it. As an easy distance checker during veg and a support during flower. Works great.... Also wonderful for LST since I don't have to tie branches to the pot anymore. The grid holds it in place..

Mine looks just like those but with fishing line tied through drilled holes in the pvc and is mounted from my light with coat hangers instead of based on the floor so I can move it up as the plants grow,,, Damn close cousin though...

Drilled n tied.
I used bamboo as legs.
If I needed to cut them no problem

I imagine mine is taller than most.
it just worked that by taking cuttings
from my last batch of plants right when I flowered them my clones used in this scrog were tall so I bent them and put them under the net.

I love being able to sit upright under the screen.
This is my first scrog though so I dont mean to be giving advice.
Just stating what Im doing
